Two Studios,
One Legacy

"What started with a dream and a small backyard studio has grown into something truly extraordinary."

In 1976, Color Country Studios was born in Parowan, Utah. Over 50 years, our program has grown into a nationally ranked home for dance, training hundreds of dedicated performers across two specialized studios.

Color Country Cloggers is our nationally recognized clogging program with 8 teams ranging from Novice Stars to our advanced Senior Elite and Gold Elite squads and specialty Irish teams. Sunshine Dance offers ballet, jazz, lyrical, and tumbling with 8 dance teams from Preschool through our Premiere company.

Under the direction of Heather Mineer and our passionate team of instructors, every dancer finds their stage.

Saydee Halterman
Hello! My name is Saydee Halterman! I was born and raised in Parowan and also at the studio! I danced all throughout my life, joined the drill team in high school and toured with a dance team internationally as an adult. My passions outside of the studio are being outside, crafts, traveling and on top everything else being a mom! I am blessed to be the mom to the cutest 2 year old girl with another girl on the way.

Kendall Ozawa
I’m Kendall Ozawa from Las Vegas, Nevada and I’ve been teaching dance and gymnastics for the past 2 years as well as competitively dancing for the past 10 years of my life. I will be attending SUU in the fall as a Biology major as well as a member of the dance team. I have such a huge passion for dance and the environment and I cannot wait to continue that journey in Utah!
Ballet & Dance Instructor
Laura Nelson
Laura Nelson has been dancing for the last 16 years, training exclusively in ballet until 2021. She then participated in drill for 3 years, which gave her the opportunity to experience and love many different forms of dance, but her passion has always been ballet. Laura has auditioned and participated in multiple intensives including those at BYU, University of Utah, and Florence, Italy! She loves to perform and teach to share her passion of dance with others. Laura currently serves as a Board Member of the Festival City Ballet and is the Assistant Artistic Director for the ballet production, “Alice in Wonderland.” She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in social work.

Elizabeth Eisenach
My name is Elizabeth Eisenach, and I’m 16 years old. I’ve loved dance from a young age, and it has always been a huge part of my life. I’m currently a PHS Rammette captain, and I absolutely love being on the drill team. I love the friendships, memories, and experiences that come with being part of a team. I’m so excited to help at Sunshine Dance-Parowan and share my love of dance with the younger dancers. Outside of dance, I lifeguard during the summer, love to travel, and enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I’m so excited for all the new memories and experiences ahead!
